Parts of a book called "How to rap" @

Today’s MCs, they do it with a little more ease—it’s not as
complicated as it was when we did it. When I think of, like,
Rakim, KRS-One, LL Cool J, Ice Cube . . . you threw a lot more
into the rhythm. Today people rap a little more looser, a little
more easy, [but that’s] not to say that it’s wack or anything.
